An Ode to J. Crew

When I walk through J. Crew's doors
I see skirts, tops and dresses galore.

As I pause and take it all in
my wallet is thinking oh this is the end.

As I leave with packages in hand
another successful trip has been had.

Also, I am participating in Modly Chic's FBFF.  Katy Rose blogger of Modly Chic is celebrating the first anniversary of her Fashion Beauty Friend Friday and she is posing the same set of questions that everyone answered this week a year ago. 


Today's topic is Inspiration. 

1. Which celebrity (celebrities) do you look to for fashion inspiration?

There are so many celebrites that have such style, here are a few that I look too and alway love what they are wearing:

Reese Witherspoon and Gwyneth Paltrow for classic/contemporary casual looks;
Nicole Richie for a Bohemian chic look (she rocks some great outfits);
Gwen Stefani for funky fun ( I wish I could pull off her look). 
Diane Kruger and Sarah Jessica Parker for there bold style (They know how to make an entrance).

2. When it comes to your own personal style, what inspires you?

Well its no secret that I love J. Crew, hence today's post.  I look to the stylings of anything Jenna Lyons (She rocks!) Clothing catalogs are another source of inspiration for me, I love to look at the pretty outfits that are perfectly put together. Lastly, all those fabulous style bloggers out there. I get such inspiration from all of you and have so many favorites that I love to follow and take away so many wonderful ideas and you all get me excited about fashion.  Thanks for that!  

3. How do you hope to inspire your readers?

I just try to post what I love.  I enjoy sharing a little bit of myself and what I find is fun. I hope that I can inspire someone just as I have received so much inspiration from all of the other bloggers out there.

4. Outside the realm of fashion who/what inspires you?
My grandmother loved shoes (heels especially) and jewelry.  She inspired me to follow in her fashion footsteps.  Miss you Grams!

5. And since Idol is ending… Which songs inspire you?
There are too many songs to count.  I get inspiration from anything and everything. Though anyone who knows me, knows I am a huge Prince fan, but his fashion is not something I could carry off. That is a style all his own.
