Tuxedo Tuesday

I have already got a few coats, a couple of leather jackets, and plenty of cardigans to wear over a little dress or with a t-shirt and jeans but the one piece of outerwear that I love to add to outfits this time of year is the tuxedo jacket. A tux jacket adds a certain sophistication to the rest of your outfit especially when satin or velvet detailing is involved.

I am lovng this BB Dakota jacket I picked up a few months back at ShopBop, the leather collar rocks!

Needed a little inspiration today, and this outfit worn by Rachel Bilson fit the bill perfectly. A cozy sweater and baggy boyfriend jeans makes me feel relaxed and ready for the work week. I have been wanting to wear this Missoni for Target infinty scarf for ages as it was a sweet gift from a Missoni obsessed friend (Thanks A).

Quick, Quick... Snap the pics before I get rained on!  A very stormy Friday so layers are just what the weather gods ordered.

On another note, if you happen to notice the ugly pedometer on my jacket (a fashion don't) I am currenlty participting in the Pedometer Turkey Trot challenge at work.  For six weeks myself, (team captain) and 3 other friends (Team Sisters with Blisters) are challenged to walk.  The competition is all based on the amount of steps we take each day.  Currently in 5th place out of 100 teams, so needless to say I am a walking machine and also very tired.

Latest eBay Purchase- Holiday Fare

Starting to think about the holiday's (yes, only 45 more days until Christmas) and have been eyeing this little sequined chiffon blazer. Found it on eBay for a fabulous holiday price of $41 dollars from the original price tag of $110.  All that extra cash I saved I can pick up some holiday lipsticks, hooray.

Laziness and Snakes

Give me an extra hour of sleep and I suddenly become a very lazy girl.  I slipped this snakeskin printed dress (don't look mom, I know you don't like snakes) on this fine Monday as the idea of mixing and matching pieces together was going to take too much out of me (lazy, lazy, lazy).  A nice change of pattern from my usual leopard print favorite and it was also nice to pull out these chocolate brown suede pumps, they rarely make an appearance for some reason.  Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend.
