Like Butter

My friend Barb gave me a new nail laquer to try. Butter LONDON.  I am in love!  I had been noticing this brand lately in all the fashion magazines and I have been dying to try and thanks to Barb I got my chance. I first tried Big Smoke.  This mildly metallic navy blue was just perfect for my trip to Disneyland.

Butter London's big smoke, an affectionate name for the city of London, due to heavy smog caused by Victorian chimney stacks and trains. (http://www.butterlondon.com/dictionary)

Next up, Bumster!

Nails are now a must have fashion accessory!  Try Butter London if you dare.

C is for Carla.  At California Adventure.

The hubby and I at Disneyland!  So much fun!

Texture of Tweed

Tweed jackets have been fashionable ever since Coco Chanel introduced her boxy tweed jacket in the 1950s. I love this classic fall/winter staple. I pulled out this little tweed jacket with lace detail for this rainy Friday. Hope everyone has a great weekend. I am headed to Disneyland (woo hoo!), so will catch up with everyone next week!

Happy Friday!

Time for Tights

Brrrr....it's getting chilly out so you know what that means, time to bring out the tights. I took inventory (and cleaned that messy drawer) on all my colored tights last night and rediscovered some fun colors that I am really excited to start wearing, but I also discovered that I am in serious need of textured tights!

Not really feeling the outfit today, its a little boring. Looks like I will have to spice it up tomorrow to make up for today.

What is your favorite brand of tights?

Jail House Rock

Ah, the striped tee. Love it! That was not always the case, let me tell you.  I was taught to believe that wearing horizontal stripes will ALWAYS widen your frame.  Sometimes it is actually possible for us to find a flattering striped style that works. I think I did today with this little outfit.  Don't let the stripe myth hold you back from participating in the fun and enduring trend.

Spooky Spider

I have started to get into the spirit of Halloween (my FAVORITE holiday) and found this fun spider necklace by Betsey Johnson. I am afraid of spiders but think this may help me with my phobia. Why can't all spiders be decked out in jewels and sparkle?

Starting putting out Halloween decorations around the house.

Blooming in Red

I was in the mood for something that was bright in color when I got dressed this fall morning. My Anthropologie shirtdress was just the ticket! The bold blooming flowers made me smile and gave me the much needed energy I craved as I knew today was going to be a busy one. Also, I am loving my new booties that the hubby bought for me, thanks honey!

Hubby Gets a Gold Star

My hubby is the best and earned a gold star. After countless hours of incessive teasing and gentle nagging he relented and bought me a pair of booties that I spotted in InStyle Magazine as an anniversary present.  The booties arrived today, Hip Hip Hooray!  Can you guess what I will be wearing on Monday?

Happy Friday!

In the Mood- Pumpkin Chai Candle

My friends at Cathedral sent me a Nest Pumpkin Chai candle to give me my pumpkin fix (I LOVE pumpkin pie!). Let me tell you, this candle got me excited once agian for fall (even though the temperature today is 90 degrees).  With the yummy pumpkin scent enhanced with spicy masala chai paired with notes of cardamom, ginger, and cinnamon, I was in heaven.

Once you light Nest's Pumpkin Chai candle, you can transform any space to something warm and inviting (whip cream, not included).

Boutique of the Month- Barbarella Beauty

Located in the charming dowtown Willow Glen, Barbarella Beauty is a little place I like to stop in for a cute top, jeans or some fabulous accessories.  They have the cutest boutique in front and a very trendy hair/makeup salon in the back. I must admit I have never used the salon as I am completely loyal to my guy down the street but I am just waiting for the chance to have my makeup done for just the right event.

Nothing better than perusing the selection of cute clothes and accessories, while getting your hair done!

Bought a cute black burnout tee.
