Friday Fancies- Beachy Chic

Currently day dreaming about the beach as I sit here at work (tick tock, watching the clock). Here are a few essentials I like to take when I am packing up and heading over the hill to Santa Cruz. A few must haves, are a cute suit (of course) and a pair of shorts to throw on if I feel like moving off my towel and pretty little tunic if we decide to have an impromptu lunch in town.

For anyone who reads this blog knows that I peruse for eBay for J. Crew pieces, I am always looking for that steal. I have eyed this green maxi skirt for ages and finally found one for mere pennies than its regular price. Another delightful score!

Little Pink Feet

I had been toying with the idea of neon colored sandals for the summer for a while now, the hard part was trying to decide between a bright yellow or a hot pink. Looks like pink won.

Sunday Inspiration - Bug in your Ear

Spending my day outside in the yard on this sunny Sunday had me thinking about these little bug earings from BaubleBar that I have been eyeing.  They are too cute not to share (the bee's are my absolute favorite).

A few little treasures that I am currently loving.

Finally found an iPhone docking station that did not look like a digital clock, the sweet vintage phone design makes me smile everytime I reach for my phone. Just had to have the Rum Punch phone cover from Kate Spade as it screamed Summer (the handbag is also fabulous).

Updated my Bad Gal Mascara from Benefit to They're Real, just took my lashes up a notch, don't even need an eyelash curler! The Nars lipstick in "Flamenco" is the perfect shade of red, and my new little striped clutch from J.Crew is just too adorable and goes with all my go to sundresses.

It's no secret that I have a love affair with a little ruffle whether it's at the bottom of a blouse or added to a skirt. But, I think I have finally found a dress that has the most perfect frill.  I was surfing the Topshop site and my eyes met this little number.  Oh little flirty dress how I adore you.
