I must admit that living in California I am spoiled by the mild weather. It gets cold, but not painstakingly cold like others have to endure each winter. This past week, it has been freezing and this little California princess is just not sure how to adapt. Grabbing a faux fur snood may to the trick today....brrr.

A Little Pick Me Up

I raided the Nars Cosmetic counter the other day as I needed a little lipstick pick me up. Grabbed a few new shades, some nail polishes as well everyday replacements. Just what the doctor ordered for the new year.

This time of year I must admit is a tough one for me (for many I am sure) the holidays are over and the weather is cold and dreary, carrying that extra holiday weight (makes me cranky) and back to the routine that is life sometimes gets me down (no more parties for a while).

As I am more of a spring/summer person and when I am cold I loose that creative feeling when getting dressed in the morning (I am terrible at layering). I saw this brightly colored bauble at J. Crew (where else?) and thought this is just the POP of color I needed to get me rejuvenated until spring.

My leopard crush (obsession) continues as I had been eyeing these J Crew Etta pumps for what seemed like ages. In trying to save my pennies (a new year's resolution) I luckily found a pair in my size on eBay for half the price. Cha-ching! One happy girl.
