While strolling the Portland Saturday market last weekend I stumbled upon rings, bracelets and necklaces made with vintage buttons. What a great idea! Owner and artist Chelsey Clark of S.J. Mari Jewelry uses vintage buttons and brooches to create unique "upscaled pieces". I of course had to walk away with a couple of rings.
After seeing all the fun jewelry, I pulled out my jar of vintage buttons that were my grandmother's and got me thinking about a DIY project. Will keep you posted on what I come up with.
